Remember.

A flag on a lone tree during this moment of silence at the Oso mudslide on Friday afternoon, March 28, 2014.

Oso mudslide. Friday, March 28, 2014.

(Oso, WA) Two photos that, alone, already stand strong.

For those interested in words, here you go:

Darrington-area resident Jaimie Mason took these picture at the Oso mudslide today.

The first photo was taken shortly before 2pm.

In her texts to Beyond90Seconds.com, Mason wrote:

“A guy limbed that tree and and rigged it up so a flag could fly in remembrance of the victims.  And we ceased operations, and had a moment of silence in division 4 and radio silence.”

Thank you, Jaimie.
