Bulletin: Shell gas card donation drive #2

OSO MUDSLIDE CONTINUING COVERAGE

by Mark Horner

A moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives in the Oso mudslide.

A moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives in the Oso mudslide.

Beyond90Seconds.com will be accepting donated Shell gas cards on Saturday and will deliver the donated gas cards to the Darrington area later that same day.

These donated Shell gas cards will be used solely for the purpose of fueling privately-owned machinery operated by local residents at the Oso mudslide recovery and clean-up effort.

We did a similar fundraiser on Thursday in Arlington and raised $360 in Shell gas cards in 3 1/2 hours, then delivered those gas cards in Darrington early that evening.

On Saturday, I will park at the Haggen’s store parking lot located at 20115 74th Ave NE in Arlington from 9am to noon.

Feel free to drop by and donate Shell gas cards and/or  to say, “Hello.”

At approximately 8:45am on Saturday, I (@beyond90seconds) will tweet  photos of myself and my vehicle parked toward the outer edge of the Haggen’s parking lot.  That’ll help you find me (I’ll add those photos to this story, too).

At noon, I’ll drive to Darrington and personally deliver your donated Shell gas cards to the folks who will use them to fuel their privately-owned machinery currently utilized in the Oso mudslide recovery mission.

SHELL GAS CARDS ONLY, PLEASE.

NO OTHER ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Thank you for considering this opportunity.

Thank you so much. Beyond 90 Seconds has gone from “never heard of it” to “checking b9s for new posts” Great work, and thanks for an honest place to give.
